Job Summary: As the Vacation Rental Property Manager, the primary objective is to oversee property operations and rentals, ensuring smooth business functioning.
Job Responsibilities: Including but not limited to
Supervise property management and performance for vacation rentals.
Communicate with vendors and maintenance staff.
Enhance ratings across various vacation rental channels.
Serve as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, responding promptly via text, email and apps.
Ensure accuracy of property listings and guest check-in instructions.
Report and document property damage for reimbursement.
Provide weekly performance reports.
Coordinate with reservation and maintenance teams.
Proactively address homeowner and guest concerns through scheduled property inspections.
Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Manage calendars and pricing for maximum revenue.
Maintain updated house guides and oversee reviews.
Be available to assist guests after hours and handle maintenance emergencies.
Manage social media presence and create occasional blogs and newsletters.
Send weekly email updates on property progress.
Responsible for accurate monthly reporting, including variance reports and budget summaries.
Maintain office equipment and leases.
Conduct monthly review of operating costs and prepare variance reports.
Prepare annual operating and capital budgets.
Review and maintain homeowner logs and work orders.
Implement proper reporting procedures for incidents.
Coordinate special requests from homeowners.
Maintain regular communication with homeowners and occupants regarding relevant information, rules, regulations, and safety recommendations.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Skills, experience, and expertise in a wide range of areas.
Self-directed and motivated individual comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
Strong analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to multi-task.
Expertise in Excel, Word and Property Management Software. (Rent Manager / Yardi).
